Trim Levels
The 2023 and 2024 Ram 3500 have the same main trim levels, although the 2024 model has some slight refinements and changes.
The basic trim option is the Tradesman, which includes 18-inch steel wheels, vinyl seats, and a locking tailgate. The 2024 model also includes second-row in-floor storage bins in the crew cab.
The Big Horn adds a chrome exterior trim and remote keyless entry if you purchase the 2024 model.
The Laramie includes leather seats, dual-zone climate control, and an 8.4-inch touchscreen. The 2024 model also includes aluminum wheels and a 10-speaker premium sound system.
The Longhorn includes a wood interior trim, ventilated front seats, and LED headlights. The 2024 Limited Longhorn trim option includes a rear window defroster and premium leather seats.
The Limited trim option is new to the 2024 Ram 3500. This luxurious trim option includes 20-inch wheels, a 12-inch touchscreen, and a noise-canceling system.
Engine Options
The 2023 and 2024 Ram 3500 have the same engine options with slight differences, which are enough to help you get around Lake City or anywhere else you care to go. The standard option is a 6.4-liter gas V8 engine with 410 horsepower, a torque of 429 pound-feet, and an eight-speed automatic transmission. The optional 6.7-liter Cummins turbocharged diesel inline-six engine makes 370 horsepower, has a torque of 850 pound-feet, and a six-speed automatic transmission. Finally, the high-output 6.7-liter Cummins turbocharged diesel inline-six engine makes 420 horsepower and has a torque of 1,075 pound-feet.
